A-Ride is a shared ride, advanced reservation, ADA paratransit service intended to provide a comparable level of transportation to that which is provided by a TheRide fixed-route bus. A-Ride riders share trips if they are generally traveling in the same direction at the same time. Trips are scheduled without regard to the purpose of the trip. A-Ride trips are provided in lift-equipped buses and sedan type vehicles. TheRide also provides 30-Day passes to EMU students, faculty, and staff at a discounted rate of $40.60.

Corner Health Clinic provides judgement-free, high-quality, affordable health services to young people aged 12 through 25. Corner offers a full range of health care, mental health and supportive services for young people as they transition to adulthood. Corner staff—including physicians, nurses, psychiatrists, social workers, nutritionists and health educators—are well versed in young people's unique needs. They provide our services to young people regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay for care.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is dedicated to addressing the mental health needs of students at Eastern Michigan University. Their caring staff provides free counseling using a short-term model. Medication management with the staff psychiatrist is also available for a fee.

The EMU Psychology Clinic is a teaching facility operated by the EMU Department of Psychology. The clinic aims to provide convenient and affordable psychological services to area residents. A broad range of behavioral, emotional, cognitive, developmental, lifespan, health related, family-of-origin and interpersonal issues can be addressed. Therapeutic approaches utilized by clinic supervisors include behavioral, cognitive-behavioral (including ACT and DBT approaches), family systems, insight oriented, interpersonal, feminist and psychodynamic orientations.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services' mission is to protect, preserve, and promote the health and safety of the people of Michigan. MDHHS makes a difference in people's lives through services that promote health and wellness of families by working on disease, genomics, toxicology, environmental health, education, and public health preparedness. They also provide mental health care to families, support for substance abuse and addiction, and operate the state's psychiatric hospitals. MDHSS can provide healthcare coverage for people with limited incomes through Medicaid.
