Advising
Graduate
We strongly encourage all prospective, current and future students of economics to contact our graduate coordinator, Dr. Chris Elias. Please email Dr. Elias with any questions or to schedule an advising appointment. The graduate coordinator is responsible from processing your graduate applications to allocating the graduate assistantship. Our graduate coordinator is also responsible to draft a program of study in the first semester of your program.
Undergraduate
Department faculty provides valuable advising to undergraduate students. Academic advising helps students stay on track with program requirements, plan their course of studies, and explore their career options. For undergraduate program advising, please contact Dr. Jenni Putz ([email protected]) directly. She is available via email and for in-person and virtual advising appointments.

Course Overrides
To request a course override, (eg. prerequisite, corequisite, course cap), you should first email the instructor of the course for which you want the override. Be sure to include your name and E-number within the message. You can send an email to Dr. Christopher Elias ([email protected]) directly, should you have any issues with your override requests.
