Eastern Michigan University recognizes the integral role families play in student success.
There are a number of ways you can engage in your student's experience. Start by attending Family Weekend and experiencing a slice of EMU life along with your student.

EMU Homecoming celebrates the most spirited week on our campus. What better way to celebrate the past, present, and future of EMU than at this year’s Homecoming Celebration?
Your student may be living miles from home as they attend classes at Eastern, but you can still send a "care package" any time—and students love receiving them!
Each residence hall and apartment provides incoming and outgoing mail service for its residents. U.S. mail is distributed to student mailboxes Monday through Saturday. Special items like flowers, packages and flyers may be delivered to the residence hall’s front desk.
To ensure prompt delivery, address letters and packages with the following information:
Resident Name
Room # Building Name
Ypsilanti, MI 48197
Please do not include “Eastern Michigan University” in the mailing address. Doing so will route the item to a general campus mailroom and delay delivery.
