Designing Non-Credit Microcredentials at EMU: A Summer Seminar
Description
This seminar introduces EMU instructional staff to emerging trends in non-credit programming and microcredentials that increase access to higher education. Over five sessions, participants will explore key concepts, learn to unbundle credit courses into modular, non-credit offerings, and design microcredential proposals for adult learners. The series aligns with EMU’s mission by promoting course innovation and flexible learning pathways. Attendance is expected at all sessions; an honorarium will be provided to those who attend at least four of the five sessions.
