Finding External Funding with EMU ORDA

Open to Administrators, Faculty, Lecturers, Staff, and Graduate Students looking to explore external funding opportunities

This program is intended for individuals who are interested in exploring the world of grant funding, whether they be federal or state grants, foundations grants, or other possibilities. Participants will be shown how to access their GrantForward account and how to use key words and filters to create curated lists of relevant funding opportunities.  A sample funding opportunity will then be used to show the basic process that EMU ORDA (Office of Research Development and Administration) uses to submit proposals to funders. We will also engage in discussion about strategies for how to determine which grants are worth pursuing. This program will be facilitated by Will Spotts, EMU ORDA's Senior Pre-Award Sponsored Projects Officer.

Session Information

Sessions will have similar content; this is not a two-part workshop series. We recommend that interested people register for and attend one of the two sessions. Both sessions will take place in 109B Halle and on Zoom.
