Fulbright Series

Fulbright Faculty Workshop 2025

The Fulbright Scholar Program is a life-changing opportunity for faculty, staff, and administrators to teach, conduct research, and carry out professional projects in over 135 countries. Previous Fulbrighters report that the experience has been one of the most fulfilling in their careers, with profound effects on how they approach their teaching and scholarship in years to come.

This year's Fulbright Scholars Workshop allowed participants to learn more about the Fulbright Scholar Program, the U.S.  government's program of international and cultural exchange. Participants heard an overview of program offerings from Dr. Carla Damiano, Professor German and Fulbright Liaison for faculty, and were able to interact with past applicants and awardees about how they prepared for and navigated the application and grant processes. To familiarize yourself with the opportunities, see here.

This program was open to all full-time faculty and academic administrators at EMU.

Please direct questions to Carla Damiano, Fulbright Liaison for faculty: [email protected].
