What’s the Scoop on the New Tutoring Program?

@ the Tutoring & Supplemental Instruction Ice Cream Social

Open to all Instructional Staff

Helping students persist through college often begins with the messages they hear from you, their faculty. When you normalize asking for and receiving help, you open the door for students to engage with resources that can keep them on track toward their goals. At this ice cream social, you’ll meet EMU’s new team of tutors and supplemental instruction leaders, learn about the peer-led support they’ll offer this fall, and discover simple, effective ways to encourage your students to take advantage of these services. You’ll also have the chance to write short notes of encouragement that will be displayed in the Eagle Study Tables to inspire students. Join us in person at the FDC Collaboratory or online via Zoom, and enjoy a scoop while building connections that make a difference for students.
