Rooms and Meeting Spaces

The library has a variety of rooms that serve the needs of EMU faculty, staff and students. Many are available to be reserved in advance. These include computer labs, classrooms, and individual and group study rooms. 

Study Rooms

• 8 individual rooms, 7 group study rooms, and 2 tech-enhanced group study rooms can be reserved during library building hours.
• Additional study rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Reservation form has policies and availability.
  
  

Zoom Enabled Collaboration Rooms

Reserve Zoom Enabled Room

• Rooms 205E & 205J on the second floor.
• Reserve by logging into Zoom and selecting "Workspace Reservation" in the left side navigation or on the touch pad outside each room.
• Contact IT Help Desk for assistance with Zoom Enabled Collaboration Rooms.

Podcast Studios

Reserve a Podcast Studio

• Rooms 115A, 115B, and 115D on the first floor.
• All podcasting studios are equipped with the sound board, SD card and 3 microphones.
• Room Key and laptop with software and instructions must be checked out at the Library Services Desk.

Classrooms and Labs

• All of the meeting rooms in the Bruce T. Halle Library come with the standard instructional equipment. If you need any additional equipment please indicate on the room reservation form when you make the room request.

Special Purpose Rooms

The library has designated spaces tailored for specific needs, available for immediate use without prior reservation, during normal library building hours.  Obtain the key from the Circulation Desk for up to a 4-hour loan period.  Please note that these rooms are not for studying, meetings or sleeping.

Lactation Room (205M): A private, lockable haven equipped with a chair, table and exclusively designed for new mothers.

Reflection Room (214E): A quiet space designated for reflection, prayer, and meditation.
