A group of students studying in Halle Library

The APC is open Fall 2022!

Hours: M-Th, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Beginning September 6, 2022, in-person help with research and technology are available on a drop-in basis Monday through Thursday from 11-5 in the Academic Projects Center. More information on getting help with research and technology during hours other than these can be found on the library's Ask a Librarian page.

In-person help with writing is available on campus but offered only by appointment through the University Writing Center

The Academic Projects Center offers point-of-need help with research, writing and technology to students working on research papers and other academic projects. We provide project-oriented support. We also offer a presentation rehearsal space, which includes a projector and video recording equipment. Users can reserve this space in advance.

Although students are a primary audience, the facility and its services are open to the entire EMU community.

The APC is a collaboration between the University Library, Division of Information Technology, the University Writing Center, and the Writing Across the Curriculum and First Year Writing Programs.
