Chemistry Tutoring

Tutors are available approximately 10–12 hours per week in room 543 Science Complex. The schedule for Winter Semester is now available and tutoring has begun.  The schedule is available by following the tutoring room link. Service is free and on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition, all CHEM 111, 115, 117, 121-124 and 283 students are invited to free drop-in collaborative study sessions every Tuesday evening from 7–9 p.m. in Science Complex Room 173. Chemistry faculty and advanced students will be there to facilitate the sessions. Sponsored by the CSIE program.  Updated 9/19/18.

The Chemistry Department tutoring room, 543 Science Complex, is now open for fall semester. During fall and winter semesters, chemistry tutoring is available (free of charge) in room 543 of the Mark Jefferson Science Complex during the hours listed in the link below. Note that it is not uncommon for the tutoring schedule to change early in the semester. Even when it is not staffed by a tutor, the room is open for students to use for studying and contains a collection of potentially useful old textbooks and reference books.

Drop-in-tutoring and other academic assistance may be available through the Holman Success Center, room G-04 in the Library. More information can be found by going on the Holman Success Center website and then selecting the tutoring link. They can also be contacted at 734.487.2133.

Drop-in tutoring is also available most mornings and early afternoons in the CSIE office, room 126.  The CSIE website contains the hours that tutoring is available.
