Bachelor of Science in Chemistry - General
This major prepares students for entry level technical positions in the chemical industry and related careers in business, patent law, technical writing or industrial health and safety. It may also be selected by students for careers in health fields, such as medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. A minor is required for this major. Prior to the 2016–17 catalog, this was known as the general chemistry major.
