EMU's College of Business continues to be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). It is the premier accrediting agency for professional business education at the collegiate level worldwide. Our undergraduate programs initially became accredited in 1974 and our graduate programs in 1982.

Princeton Review "Outstanding" Business School
The Princeton Review has named EMU's College of Business an "outstanding" business school every year since 2005. The education services company featured Eastern in the 2017 edition of its book "The Best Business Schools." The Princeton Review compiles the list based on its surveys of 23,000 students attending the business schools in the book, as well as on school-reported data. Students were asked about their school's academics, student body and campus life, as well as about themselves and their career plans.
First Ranked BBA-Management, HR Concentration
EMU's BBA-Management major/HR concentration ranked first in "Diploma Program with Emphasis on HR" by HR.com, the largest global social networking and resource site for HR professionals.
Student Human Resources Organization Listed Number One
The Eastern Michigan University student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) placed first in Division II of the society's regional competition.
EMU (through the COB’s CIS department) is one of eight U.S. universities – and the only one in Michigan -- offering the Microsoft Dynamics Student Certificate Program (MDSCP).
Integrated Marketing Communications Degree Distinction
The College of Business has the only fully online integrated marketing communications degree program housed in an AACSB accredited business school.

EMU’s Taxation program ranked 25th in Value Colleges' listings of the 50 Best Value Master's in Taxation Degrees of 2017.
Top-Ranked Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management
In a national review by affordablecolleges.com, EMU's graduate certificate in human resource management program was ranked #9 standing out for both quality and affordability.
Human Resource Programs Recognized by LEAD Awards
Eastern's master's in human resources and organizational development and EMU's bachelor's in management with an HR concentration were ranked first in their respective categories for 2017 LEAD, Leadership Excellence, Awards recognizing Leadership Development Programs in the Education Category.
