Professional Summary

Dr. Henry has over 25 years of experience working in the
manufacturing industry for General Motors, holding a variety of internal positions including supervision and acting-interim President of UAW Local 14. Dr. Henry also has approximately 15 years in Academia working at a variety of Universities transferring her manufacturing experience into classroom settings teaching adult learners in college. Dr. Henry has Academia experience in three states (Florida, Michigan, Ohio) teaching at the secondary and post-secondary levels. She teaches courses online also. This is by no means an exhaustive list of Dr. Henry' experiences.

Dr. Henry contributed to the development of a published textbook “Business Now” 1st edition, ISBN: 978-0-07-337728-5, www.mhhe.com, McGraw-Hill and was also a Civil Service Commissioner for the City of Toledo, functioning as the President of the Commission for five of a six-year term. She had the honor of being appointed to the City of Toledo position by former Mayor Jack Ford. Her responsibilities included rendering final arbitration on disputes for the City of Toledo’s employees, discrete with confidential information, and having a working knowledge of fundamental local and state laws in Personnel Management which contributed to her knowledge while working in the Benefits Department for the City of Jacksonville, Florida.
