Hamidreza Asemani, Ph.D. Technology

 

The polymers and coatings team of doctoral student, Hamidreza Asemani, and professor Dr. Vijay Mannari, from EMU's College of Engineering and Technology were selected to receive the “University Emerging Technology Award” at the RadTech Ultraviolet+Electron Beam 2020 Conference in Orlando, Florida. 

The team developed and validated a novel concept for making advanced materials for Additive Manufacturing  (3D printing) using meticulously designed dual-cure process that significantly improves performance of the final product without compromising efficiency of the process.
