About the Chemistry Department
Welcome to the EMU Chemistry Department! We are so glad you are interested in joining us. If you major in chemistry or biochemistry, you can expect:
· Small class sizes in which your professors will get to know you and you will get to know them.
· Opportunities to work with faculty on undergraduate research projects.
· Opportunities to apply for department scholarships and university research fellowships.
· Lots of help in taking the next step after graduation, whether you want to find a job, apply to a health-related professional school, or go to graduate school.
