Group Leader and Orientation Volunteer
We need you to help welcome new international students to EMU! OISS needs volunteers and group leaders to help with orientation. Please fill out the Orientation Volunteer and Group Leader application form according to application dates below.
What does a volunteer do?
A volunteer helps with directing students, taking tickets, registration and many other tasks to help orientation run smoothly! Volunteers are required to attend the training day and the days they signed up to volunteer. Information about training and orientation will be given to volunteers selected after the interview.
What does a Group Leader do?
A group leader helps 8–12 new students through orientation. Group leaders helps new students meet each other, leads discussions and helps students find events. Group leaders are required to attend the training day and the entire orientation. Information about training and orientation will be given to group leaders selected after the interview.
