Financial Planning Educational Sessions offered by Hantz Group
Eastern Michigan University Benefits Office is pleased to host a financial planning series offered by the Hantz Group. This complimentary series provides financial planning educational sessions that offers tools you may need to clarify various aspects of your financial goals. This three-part series will span over three weeks meeting every Wednesday, May 11, 2016 – May 25, 2016. Each session will be in the HR Training Suite (100 McKenny) at 12:00pm – 1:00pm. Will/Trusts-Estate Planning Basics – May 11, 2016
Which estate planning documents are right for your family? What are your options? When should you consider estate planning? This presentation will provide guidance on these questions. How to avoid probate, common mistakes made, guardianship issues, and how to integrate your estate plan with your financial plan will also be discussed.
Risk Management – May 18, 2016
Why are your home/auto insurance premiums increasing? How much liability insurance should you have? What type of coverage is right for you and your family? This presentation will provide a framework for these decisions. Deductible management, umbrella policies, and policy structure will also be discussed.
Managing Finances & Organizing Debt – Family Office – May 25, 2016
Creating a blueprint and discussing the role each professional should play in your finances is a critical component to financial decision making. This presentation will focus on debt/banking decisions, evaluating/understating your risk, creating a blueprint, and integration of your financial professionals.

- Blue Cross Blue Shield or Blue Care Network Member Discount - $161.00

A MINIMUM OF 15 PARTICIPANTS is needed for the session to begin May 20, 2016. Credit/debit cards or bank accounts will not be billed until the minimum of 15 participants have registered for the meeting. You will receive an email confirmation upon completing registration. A second email will be sent when the payment transaction is processed confirming that you have been billed. FSA cards will not be accepted for payment. To receive reimbursement from your FSA account, please contact the Benefits Office for the proper form. - Click Select (there will be a dot by My Benefit Summary)
- Click Select to see current benefits (Current will be shown in box, or you can change to a previous year)
You will see a summary of your 2014 benefit coverages, and current payroll deductions/percentages
