EMU Jazz Ensemble
The Jazz Ensemble is comprised of approximately 20 members. Membership is open to all EMU students by audition the first week of classes.
Rehearsals: Tues., Thurs. 4:30–6:00 PM, Room 106, Alexander Music Building
EMU Jazz Combos
Jazz Combos are smaller ensembles of 3–6 members, based on instrumentation and skill level, that perform at both on- and off-campus gigs. Membership is open to all EMU students by audition the first week of classes.

Audition Information
Below are audition instructions for Jazz Ensemble and Combos for Fall 2024.
Fall 2024 auditions will be conducted via video. Please create a video of yourself following the directions in the "READ FIRST Jazz Audition Instructions" document in the linked folder below. Post your video as an unlisted YouTube video. Then, send the link of the video to Dr. Babcock. Audition video links need to be sent by 10PM Friday, December 6, 2024. If you have any questions, please email Dr. Babcock.
