• EMU Choir Releases Two New Albums
  
  
  The Eastern Michigan University Choir has recently released two new choral recording projects in the spring of 2024. These albums include student musicians from the past several academic years. "Wade in the Water" is a collection of Spirituals and Folk Songs, while "The Road Home" is a compilation of recently composed choral art music, featuring three winners of the EMU Choral Composition Competition.

• The School of Music & Dance celebrated the establishment of two scholarship funds that will benefit EMU’s string students in the School of Music and Dance, the Shing Cheng Seetoo Endowed Scholarship in Orchestral Strings and the Zhiwen Situ Cello Scholarship. The scholarships will benefit the EMU Symphony Orchestra by supporting student musicians who play the violin, viola, cello, and double bass in the School of Music & Dance.
