In-Person Consultations Are Coming Back!

In-person consultations are returning for Fall 2021. Limited appointments will be available Monday through Thursday beginning September 13 in 115 Halle Library as well as a few of our satellite locations, including 211 Pray-Harrold and the third floor of Marshall. Drop-in consultations are not available at this time.

We will also continue to offer Zoom and written feedback consultations.

Scheduling a Consultation

To schedule any type of consultation, go to WCOnline and select the schedule for the type of consultation you would like (in-person, written feedback, or Zoom). For detailed instructions on registering for an account, scheduling a consultation, or attending a Zoom appointment, see our Using WCOnline web page.

COVID Safety Protocols

The UWC is committed to stopping the spread of COVID as much as possible. For this reason, we have developed mask and social distancing protocols that we will follow for the Fall 2021 semester. We will also maintain a clean environment by wiping down surfaces regularly.

Mask Policy: The UWC requires all persons attending or providing in-person consultations or workshops to wear a mask covering the nose and mouth regardless of vaccination status. This policy will remain in effect the entire Fall 2021 semester (even if University policy changes). Masks will be available for those who forget them. If you do not wish to wear a mask, please schedule a written feedback or Zoom consultation rather than an in-person consultation.

Social Distancing Policy: The UWC will maintain a safe distance between consultants and anyone attending consultations. To help us do this, any person attending an in-person consultation should bring two printed copies of your paper, or one printed copy (for your consultant) along with your laptop (for you).
