Acquire the advanced musical skills, concepts, and sensitivities essential to your life as a professional musician in this four-year program.
The study of private voice will enable students to develop an efficient classical vocal technique, based on the Italian bel canto method of vocal training. Students will establish healthy technical habits, proficiency in lyric diction, and be exposed to a wide variety of vocal styles and repertoire.

Many students continue their musical education going on to complete a master’s degree and some further to a doctoral degree. The continued study of music can lead to a performing career in large ensembles, smaller chamber ensembles, or solo performance opportunities. This degree may also lead to a career in teaching as a college professor or as a private studio teacher. Some will combine music and other fields for a diversified career.
