National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity
FDC has the membership for the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity. This center is an independent professional development, training, and mentoring community of over 71,000 graduate students, post-docs, and faculty members. They are 100% dedicated to supporting academics in making successful transitions throughout their careers. They offer on-campus workshops, professional development training, and intensive mentoring programs.
For colleges, universities, foundations, and professional organizations that want to support the success of their pre-tenure faculty, NCFDD provide a series of on-campus workshops. Each workshop is designed to address core dilemmas facing tenured and tenure-track faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and advanced graduate students by teaching concrete, empirically-tested strategies for success. NCFDD workshops provide an opportunity for scholars to become more effective and also serve as community building events where writing groups, support networks, and peer-mentor relationships can form and solidify.
Faculty Success Program
NCFDD's signature program, the Faculty Success Program is specifically designed to transform your personal and professional life. It's all about learning the secrets to increase your research productivity, getting control of your time, and living a full and healthy life beyond your campus.
