Banner Workflow

Overview

Banner Workflow can pass electronic documents, information, and tasks from one participant to the next for action, according to defined business rules. Using Banner Workflow, a participant performs a work-related activity and the results of that activity are then passed automatically to the next participant.

Banner Workflow is often integrated with Banner data and ApplicationXtender document imaging to manage the entire life cycle of the business process.  The benefits of this integration include:

  • Banner data can be automatically updated.
  • Supporting documentation in Xtender can be easily accessed with one click.
  • The final step of the workflow process can add the completed document, along with any uploaded files to an Xtender application (electronic file cabinet).
